Who let the wolfs out? (Trekking in Seitseminen NP)
1st day:
The wild animal inside of me feels free again, like fish thrown back to the water. With wild I don't mean something without control or bestial, I mean something natural, something what is deep inside, something original. To get back for a while where part of me belongs, to the forest, to the lake, to the vast space and to the night sky filled with stars.
We have been walking for 20km in an amazing pine forest, crossing some streams and walk beside some lakes. The sun was shining and the sky was blue. The guys who I was with are pretty cool, one of them is an environment and trekking specialist (http://www.hikinginfinland.blogspot.com/) and the other one is vipassana meditation practitioner. Later a suomelainen mushroom and trek and cooking expert joined our team. We stayed in a small wooden house, but I slept outside, it was too warm inside.

2nd day:
The dawn at the lake was breathtaking, how the sun came from the mist...

We stopped at the Seitseminen Visitors Centre and I saw amazing pictures from Hannu Ahonen book called Marjatta (http://hannuahonen.com/). That night we stayed in a laavu. We were sitting around the fire, "just like the sex in the city girls" ;-). We also picked lots of different kind of mushrooms, like black trumpets and suppis.

They were really tasty in the cheese soup. I learnt about the Finnish mushroom snobism, big ones are just for export, the small ones are tasty and that the refugees from Karelia thought Finns to pick mushrooms.
3rd day:
We finished our 61+-1km trek and got back to Tampere and later I continued to Oulu. Back to the city where the domesticated part of me can check the internet, write this blog and take shower and sleep in a bed. I felt tired, but full of amazing experiences. Big up and respect for organizing and for participating to guys who I joined!
